Celebrating 5 years with Deborah Leach

This week we caught up with Deborah Leach, one of our Senior Lead Designers, who is celebrating her fifth anniversary with the business.

“I was freelancing for Michael Potter MRICS and Andrew Wilkinson at the beginning of the Curve Workplaces design and build journey in September 2016.” Said Debbie.

“I had worked in this industry ever since I left University and I could see that the chemistry, experience, and vision of the two of them was something exciting, consistent, and refreshingly different. So, two years later having watched them grow rapidly, I asked if I could join full-time, and I have loved every moment. On the one hand it has been really rewarding to be part of providing every client with the best design solution alongside efficient cost-effective construction. On the other hand, it has been special to be part of a culture that is supportive and kind. Something that has just got stronger and stronger as I have watched us grow from 8 to 34 people, and I know I have been blessed to be part of a team that I would call my ‘work family.’ And they’re all very accepting of me being a Spurs and Reading fan!” She added.

Our Head of Design, Ryan Morgan said: “It is an absolute pleasure working with Debbie. She continues to push the design boundaries which produces the highest quality design work. The next five years feels very exciting.”
