Curve champion golfer of the year

The Curve Champion Golfer of the Year. Yesterday, on the eve of the Ryder Cup, the world’s golf media stopped off on their way to Italy to report on the annual Curve Workplaces Open at Sandford Springs Hotel & Golf Club - https://lnkd.in/egzNTtBj. And they certainly were not disappointed …There was high drama all over the course, there was incredible skill, alongside some quite extraordinary shots…One veteran commentator was heard to say, “in my 40 years of watching world class golf up close I did not think that shot was possible with a golf club” (isn’t that right Paul Scottie-Scheffler …?)Nutshell: it was very competitive and played in great spirit. In the end Marcus Smith won the Curve Claret Jug, seeing off some terrific scores around him with a round of focussed consistency. And Andrew Wilkinson’s team – which included Brian Pickett, Tom Barton and Jeremy Metcalfe - came out as the winning team. Tom also nailed the longest drive on the day. The full roll call of golfers was Morgan Clark, Dom Clark, Paul Scott, Andy Nixon, Jon Rea Palmer, Marcus Smith, Michael Potter, Darren Parkinson, Sebastian Somers, Stephan Holt, Ben Churchill, Alec White, Jay Moore, Russell Rints, Harry Bevins, Lee Snow, Shaun Walters, Andrew Boydell, Paul McNamara, Matthew Cove, Lorraine Boydell, Andy Wilkinson Brian Pickett, Tom Barton and Jeremy Metcalfe.
