On site with World duty free

We are delighted that our client World Duty Free - WDF have chosen us to collaborate with them on the design and build of their new office - 14,000 Sq. ft., on the 2nd floor, Building 5, Bloom, Feltham.

Fred Creighton, CEO for World Duty Free in the UK comments, “World Duty Free is very excited to be creating this Great Place to Work with Curve Workplaces. Our new office space will provide our colleagues with a flexible, agile, and collaborative space to work in. An environmentally friendly office was high on our agenda and we were particularly attracted to the design by Maxine Burge. Her careful blending of existing furniture, innovative sustainable build materials and new furniture was exactly what we envisaged for our future office."

Curve Workplaces Project Consultant Angus Nicol said: “Like many businesses, World Duty Free are experiencing a period of changing working practices and found that their existing 24,000 Sq.ft space in neighbouring Building 4, comprised largely of traditional workspace, was underutilised.”

“Our solution promotes collaboration and interaction throughout the space, with some innovative design solutions thanks to Maxine. The look and feel has been inspired by World Duty Free’s iconic and much loved retail spaces, including the nearby Heathrow Terminal 5 location, which we were treated to a guided tour of, to help inform our design.” he added.

Many thanks to everyone involved, especially the team at World Duty Free, headed up by Beverley Rushby. All of the team at Furniture Forum, our Lead Designer Maxine Burge, Landlords Henley Investments and Colmore Capital, Acquiring Agent Andrew Outterside at Vail Williams, Letting Agents Richard Harding at BrayFoxSmith and Stuart Chambers at Savills, and Employers Agent Matthew Beech at Vail Williams.
