Project Summary

At Building 1, Pentagon in Abingdon, we were appointed by PA Property to deliver a CAT A refurbishment, refreshing the building and preparing the space for its next occupier. Working alongside CBRE, Spratley & Partners and etch Associates, the project involved a range of works both inside and outside the building, with the aim of creating a flexible, market-ready space.

As part of the external works, we removed the existing steel and concrete bike store and backup generator area to make way for the soft landscaping scheme developed by the design team. We also recoated the existing roof, helping to refresh the building externally as part of the wider refurbishment.

Our involvement then continued beyond the landlord works. Following the CAT A refurbishment, we were appointed to carry out CAT B works for the incoming tenant, Smart Garden Products Ltd, helping to prepare the wider space for occupation and allowing us to take the project from landlord refurbishment through to the tenant's requirements.

The result is a refreshed and adaptable workplace that is ready for its next chapter, with the flexibility to accommodate the needs of its occupier without losing sight of the wider property.

We were pleased to work with PA Property, Smart Garden Products, CBRE, Spratley & Partners and etch Associates to bring the project together.
