Tivo were located at Braywick Gate, Maidenhead and due to continued expansion and a lease event they needed to move. It was important that the new accommodation offered HQ qualities and the potential to expand, and York House in Windsor was considered the ideal building.
After gaining a full understanding of the client brief, the Curve designer developed a scheme that included four specific zones; a meeting suite, Us zone, Me Zone and collaboration. Spaces to encourage creative thinking, open plan and group working, individual and focused work areas and café/breakout areas were key to creating the right working environment for the Tivo team. The 7-week project, with furniture installation, resulted in a separate smart and professional front-of-house meeting suite, quiet areas along with central vibrant, fun, upbeat and creative collaborative employee areas. Tivo employees have seen a positive change in their workings practices due to the variety of meeting spaces, hot offices and Skype rooms. Along with excellent breakout facilities, the sit-stand desks have improved well being.
