Following the merger of Rock-It Cargo and Dynamic International in the UK, The Rock-It Company needed a new headquarters that could bring both businesses together under one roof. Identified by JLL as the ideal location, Unit RP6 at Radius Park provided the opportunity to create a shared workplace that could support the combined teams, streamline operations and establish a new identity for the business.

Following a competitive selection process, we began with an extensive workplace consultancy programme to understand how the newly merged organisation would operate. Rather than simply combining two existing office layouts, we developed a workplace strategy around the different teams, workflows and cultures before delivering a combined CAT A and CAT B fit-out.

The project also presented some significant technical and logistical challenges. With the building undergoing redevelopment at the same time, construction required careful coordination and phased access to areas that were still being completed. Despite this, we delivered the project within a 14-week programme, adapting to the evolving site conditions without losing momentum.

A new interconnecting staircase creates a stronger connection between the two floors, while the warehouse undercroft was transformed into additional office accommodation and a new mezzanine level was introduced to maximise operational capacity.

The result is a headquarters designed around the needs of a newly unified business. More than simply bringing two organisations into the same building, the project created a workplace that helps people work together as one, while giving The Rock-It Company the space and flexibility to grow.
